Every year I ask God for a word, a prayer or a theme for my spiritual walk with Him. Last year He laid this simple but profound prayer on my heart “show me your face Lord.” Through my experiences, the word and my quiet time with Him he showed me who He really is. He exposed the lies and misbeliefs I had about Him and brought truth. He taught me that He was the lover of my body, soul and spirit. He led me into a deeper love relationship with Him. He showed me that He was my protector as I narrowly missed being squashed under a three ton lorry reversing down a one way street. He turned up as my comforter and strength during those times when I felt so discouraged, down hearted and weak. He revealed Himself to me as my provider when I did not know where the finances were going to come from for The Sanctuary Soul Care Centre or for my personal needs. He filled me with knowledge of His overwhelming, abiding and sustaining love. He longs for each one of us to know Him more intimately.
Lord please show me your face. I want to know and experience you more
