“Your path led through the sea, your way through the mighty waters, though your footprints were not seen.”
Change always brings with it some form of loss in your life that you have to grieve and then let go. A wise woman described it to me as” Let go of what is in your hand clutched oh so tightly so that God can fill it with new things and new beginnings.”
Hebrews 6:12-15
Numbers 23: 19-20.
“God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man that He should change His mind. Does He speak and then not act? Does He promise and not fulfil?”
I was listening to Sheila Walsh in a chat show this morning where she recounts her story of breaking down on a live televised show – 700 Club. She ended up in a hospital getting help and on anti-depressants.
Psalm 18.
Psalm 18:33-33 “It is God who arms me with strength and makes my way perfect.
I fractured my right baby finger in a silly little accident five weeks ago in Zimbabwe. I was told it was a small fracture and had the finger put in a splint. I was told in a months’ time to go to my Dr here in Joburg, take more x rays and have occupational therapy and hey presto I would be fine.
ROMANS 4:18-25
ROMANS 4:19-21 ” Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead—since he was about a hundred years old—and that Sarah’s womb was also dead. Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had the power to do what He had promised.”
Why do we all hide behind masks today? Not behind the physical ones but the emotional ones. They might as well be real as they achieve the same purpose: hiding the wearer’s true identity. Is it because we are afraid of rejection if others see who we really are? Why are we so preoccupied with other people’s opinions?
Psalm 16:11.
You make known to me the path of life; you fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.
